Black Hat vendor passes now cost more than most companies' entire annual security budget. At $3,495 per person, you could instead Do Nothing™ for 3.2 years and achieve the same measurable security improvement.
Since we refuse to pay that, you'll find us exhibiting outside the vendor area at the Mandalay Bay convention center. Look for our booth near the loading dock.
We'll also be giving lightning talks behind the dumpster at the Delano, covering topics such as:
Don't miss our Security Minimalism Training — the most cost-effective way to spend your remaining security budget. Learn how to apply the principles of doing absolutely nothing to your organization's security posture. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion that is exactly as valuable as every other security certification.
Complimentary Nothing Security t-shirts for anyone who shows us their conference badge receipt and cries.

Thank you to everyone who visited the Nothing Symposium and our midnight anger therapy session outside the CVS by the Mosser. We had an incredible turnout of disillusioned security professionals who just needed someone to tell them it's okay to stop pretending.
Highlights included a group reading of the Verizon DBIR's "60% of breaches were from known, patched vulnerabilities" finding, followed by a communal scream into the San Francisco fog.
Special thanks to the three CISOs who handed us their resignation letters to use as napkins.

Our inaugural appearance. Many vendors were showcasing complicated, costly, and burdensome security technologies. We showcased Nothing and it outperformed all of them.
Since then, cybersecurity spending has grown 87% and cybercrime losses have grown 600%. We were right. They were expensive.
